CONNECT
Add Apps@Last to your assistant.
Model Context Protocol (MCP) lets a compatible assistant call a website's tools. Use a client that supports a remote MCP server over HTTP.
- Open your client's settings for remote MCP servers or custom connectors.
- Add this server URL. Choose no authentication if your client asks; this public catalog has no OAuth sign-in or API key.
- Connect, review the four tools, then ask it to find an app or explain its setup.
MCP server URLhttps://appsatlast.com/api/mcp
Setup labels and availability depend on your client and plan. Adding the URL does not install apps or add the connection to other clients. If your client cannot connect, use the readable catalog or HTTP endpoints below.
Protocol compatibility
The endpoint accepts MCP requests by POST. It supports current protocol 2026-07-28 with server/discover, plus stateless compatibility for older 2025-11-25 clients. The current protocol uses discovery; the older revision uses its initialization handshake. Clients handle these details.
There are no persistent MCP sessions or background subscriptions. Compatibility with every client has not been verified.
YOUR ASSISTANT, YOUR CHOICE
A connection in a few steps.
Use the same public server URL in each assistant. No Apps@Last account or key is needed.
Codex
Run this in your terminal to add the connection:
codex mcp add appsatlast --url https://appsatlast.com/api/mcp
Check it with codex mcp list, then open a new Codex chat to use the tools.

Claude Code

claude mcp add --transport http appsatlast https://appsatlast.com/api/mcp
Run /mcp in Claude Code to review the connection and available tools.

TRY ASKING“Find apps that help me work with AI, and show me how to get started.”
These steps follow each client's documentation. Availability can depend on your client, plan and workspace settings. A connection in one assistant does not connect the others.
FOUR PUBLIC TOOLS
All four tools read approved, published listing information. They do not change accounts, collect emails, grant download access or take payments.
WITHOUT MCP
Read the catalog over HTTP.
These public GET endpoints expose the same public catalog information. The HTML versions work in a browser without JavaScript.
Replace askbar with a slug returned by the catalog. Catalog filters are q, category, limit (1–20) and offset (0–1000). Listings and availability can change; check the current result before taking the next step.
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD
You stay in control.
AskBar, Codex Imagegen and Fax downloads require an email on the download page. No account or email verification is needed for that guest path. You can choose to create an account or log in; existing account terms and verification requirements still apply.
Marketing consent is a separate, optional checkbox that starts unchecked. You can download without opting in. Your latest choice applies to that email across these free downloads, and you can change it on a download page later.
The tools return the email-access page for those downloads. They do not bypass the form or supply a download grant. SignLocal remains a browser app you can launch from its listing.
Paid checkout is off. Listed paid prices remain prices; these tools cannot turn a paid app into a free download. No purchase is made or scheduled through this interface.
There are no account, private listing, customer email, download-lead or marketing tools. Do not send passwords, API keys or personal data in catalog searches. Review the destination, license and setup requirements before using an app.
